Obesity Fertility
Men who are overweight may face fertility problems... according to a new report. Researchers from the university of aberdeen studied sperm samples from five thousand men who were categorized based on their weight. They found men who were normal weight had significantly higher levels of healthy sperm, compared to men who were obese. Researchers say an increase in fat tissue influences sex hormones -- and the accumulation of fat could negatively impact the temperature in the sperm's environment. Researchers also found men who were underweight had the same problems as those who were obese.
