Pregnancy is nothing short of a life-changing event. Not only is your body going through tremendous changes, but so is everything in your mind. There's something about carrying a little tiny person that makes you look at your life in a different light. Things that you once wanted might seem less desirable, something you were once sure of now makes you completely unsure, and maybe you're experiencing clarity as never before.

Bringing a baby into the world is inexplicable. Take advantage of this life-altering event to eradicate anything that diminishes true happiness and replace it with enrichment. It seems like an overwhelming task, but when taken a day at a time, you'll find yourself in a much better place.

- Notice simple beauties
- Get enough sleep
- Be kind
- Let go of toxic relationships
- Meditate
- Make free time
- Collect memories

- Get rid of stuff you don't need
- Spend time, not money
- Express gratitude
- Eat healthy
- For every negative comment, say 10 positive ones

You
Staying in tune with your mind and body will have a profoundly positive influence during pregnancy, and afterwards too. Take a guided meditation class to help you learn how to clear your mind and just be. Enroll in prenatal Pilates or yoga classes; both will calm your mind while strengthening your body. Also, nurture your talents: take an art, cooking, or dance class – Cultivate your forte.

Others
So much time and energy is wasted these days searching for fulfillment in ridiculous drama that we're not even a part of; all the while, fulfillment is almost always found while serving others. The one who serves is the one who receives the most enlightenment. Volunteer time and kindness somewhere, such as a community center, a shelter, or go to a nursing home to visit with the elderly and listen to their amazing life stories.

Your Dwelling
It is time to de-stress your home. Get rid of clutter and donate things that you do not need. Make room for the new things in your life by getting rid of things you haven't used in years. Turn off the television, the radio, your phone, and the computer for a while each day while you spend quality time visiting with your loved one.

In short, cleansing your life of needless things will give you more time to spend with your precious little gift.
